A surrealist icon from Karl Lagerfeld’s Spring/Summer 2001 collection, these Chanel Tennis Ball Heels are one of the house’s most coveted archival pieces. Designed during the height of Chanel’s early 2000s era, the shoes fuse sport and sophistication — featuring sculptural heels crafted from actual tennis balls, embossed with the iconic double C logo.
Produced in extremely limited quantities and rarely released to the public, this pair embodies the whimsical, experimental energy of early-aughts runway Chanel. Believed to have only been made available to select boutiques and VIP clients, very few pairs exist today — making them a true grail for collectors.
Details:
•Authentic Chanel, Spring/Summer 2001
•Tennis ball heel with embossed Chanel logo
•Size: 37.5 but fits more like a 38 (Size 8 US)
•Condition: In good vintage condition, some wear on the tennis balls and on sole & heel tips. Please refer to photos. Still has a lot of life yet and is dying to be worn to Wimbledon!
•Includes: Original dustbag
This is more than a shoe — it’s fashion history.
